JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Nestle S.A. will invest another $100 million to double the capacity of its new plant in Indonesia, a company official said Thursday.
“I'm really proud to announce that Nestle will invest another $100 million in Indonesia after we've invested $100 million earlier this year,“ said Arshad Chaudry, President Director of PT Nestle Indonesia. “It's part of our longterm project in Indonesia.“
The additional investment reflects growing confidence among global investors in the prospects for Indonesia's consumer-driven economic growth. Nestle expects the factory development will be finished by 2015. It currently has three factories in the country.
